Minos is prince of the northern people. Like his father, Asterios, he seeks to be a just and kind ruler.
The responsibility for his people rests hard on his shoulders. He will do everything to ensure his people's safety.
When he left his homeland he swore to return as quickly as possible and save those who stayed behind, his father, the old and the sick.
Minos is a mighty warrior and his ancient sword and plate mail make him a fearsome opponent on the battlefield.
Rholtwest - King's Advisor
Rholtwest knows Minos since the day he was born. As an old friend and trusted advisor of King Asterios he didn't want to leave his homeland.
In a heated debate the King convinced Rholtwest that his experience, wisdom and battle prowess would be needed during the mission of finding a new home for the northeners.
He is absolutly loyal to Prince Minos. His axe-throwing skills are legendary and despite his age, he walks, fights and talks like a 30 year old.
His axes, named "Cleaver" and "Ripper" are imbued with special magic and will always return to their rightful master.
Ariadne - The Wise Woman
Ariadne was found as a baby by hunters in an ice cave. They were lured there by a strange pure light that the baby emitted. Who her parents were, nobody knows, but some of the older folks tell a story.
During the reign of Asterios father, a shaman named Heddo proclaimed that the god of the northeners, Taurus, was a false god. He set out into the icy wilderness in search of the truth and was never seen again.
A few think that Ariadne is Heddo's daughter. Though revered by most people for her healing skills, her magical abilities and her unknown origin make her a loner.
Ungbar - Trusted Friend
Ungbar is a real warhorse.
He was raised together with Minos and is his most trusted friend. They fought their first battles side by side and got drunk together for the first time.
When it became clear that a new home had to be found, Ungbar was the first to volunteer for the most dangerous missions.
It was he who set out to hunt for the fearsome Icecrawlers hide, so that the fleet would have enough food and sailcloth to undertake its journey.
Since the day he first saw Ariadne, he knew that she will be his wife someday. He hasn't told her about his feelings yet, but plans on doing so in the very near future.
Berserkers are formidable warriors equipped with great two-handed battle axes.
Though somewhat rash in joining battle, their strength and courage saved the day more than once.
Axethrowers use their sharpened throwing-axes to obliterate enemies from a safe distance.
Trained since childhood, these guys can hit even fast moving targets, wether they're in the air or earthbound.
Bullriders are the shock troops of the northern people. Since the cold claimed the pastures, no Bullriders have been trained.
In times of old only the strongest men were allowed to tame their bulls.
Minos plans on recreating the traditions of the Bullriders, once the amount of cattle allows it.
